Jumping on the Ice Bucket band wagon

The ice bucket challenge phenomenon has trickled it's way to the elementary schools across the country.  So after agreeing to hit up their piggy banks to make a donation to ALS, we commenced the challenge.

8 and Fabulous!

Our beauty H, turns 8 today.
Isn't she stunning!

 

She's the sweetest girl with such a calm temperament and warm soul. 

You could feel that from day one with her.

 

 

 

 

 

Today we celebrate her!

Her love of animals, clothes and her little brothers. (and occasionally her big sister too!)

She is so amazing and precious and growing up too fast for me.

I'm actually sitting here crying as I write this.  She was my baby for many years.  My heart doesn't want her to grow up.  I always and forever want her voice to stay the EXACT way it is.  And for her to never pronounce her R's the right way.

 

We are so grateful that God gave her to us.

Big Fat Liar

I am a big, fat liar!
I admit it.
Remember this post!

Yes, I said (thought) I had life under enough control to resume blogging.
Duh....Was I EVER WRONG!

I'm just NOW feeling like I can TRY to get the ball rolling again.
Hopefully I haven't lost too many of you.
Please come back.  I promise I'm going to do better.
SOMETHING is better than nothing, right?? 
So I will promise you Something.  Might be little, might be a lot. 
But it will be.

And wow...do I ever have some catching up to do!
Remember, one of the main reasons I do this blog is to 'scrapbook' for my kiddos.
To 'capture' moments....memories....our life

And these gorgeous ladies have  had a blast this summer, swam their patooties off, are growing faster than I can keep up with, and are headed Back to School on Monday. Oy Vey!!
